Pro Circuit 10K ITF Pachuca, Mexico update: Dean O'Brien and his doubles partner Juan-Carlos Spir reached the doubles final after winning their semi-final that lasted over two days due to a rain delay. In the final the former Georgia Tech teammates lost today 8-10 in another "third set" super-tiebreaker to the number 1 seeded team: Christopher Diaz-Figueroa (GUA) & Darian King (BAR) . Pro Circuit 10K ITF Veracruz, Mexico update: Dean O'Brien advances to the quarterfinals in singles and the final in doubles! In singles, Dean beat Lazaro Navarro-Batles (CUB) 6/1 6/4. In doubles, the South African Davis Cup player and his doubles partner Juan-Carlos Spir (COL) reach the final after their 6/1 6/2 victory in the semi-final. Congratulations to Dean O'Brien (RSA) for reaching the final and almost winning the title with his doubles partner Colin O'Brien (IRL) at the ITF 15K Futures tournament in Plaisir, France. The O'Brien team was serving for the championship and had several match points before losing 14-16 in the final set super tie-breaker. Tough loss but what a great effort Dean! Congratulations!
