JKTA Juniors Shine at the Little Mo Florida Sectionals

Big congratulations to our junior players for their performances this weekend at the Little Mo Florida Sectionals in West Palm Beach, FL! Isabella Aguiar won the girls’ 11 singles event! Awesome Isa! Congratulations champ! Jaden Brady was the finalist in the boys’ 11 event losing in the finals in a very close battle 6/7 6/7. Great fight Jaden! Well done! Maria Navarro was not only the finalist in the girls’ 9 (green dot) event but she also received the sportsmanship award! Maria we are not only proud of you for your on court performance but we are even more proud about your sportsmanship award!! Congratulations Maria! Well done also to all other JKTA players who competed this weekend! Some of our academy players had to play each other and unfortunately only one could win but we are proud of all of you! Thank you to all of our coaches for their support. Meet the Author

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
