Johan dominated the Charlotte event for many years in the past and more than 20 years later, the multiple Grand Slam champion decided to move his tennis academy to Charlotte. The Johan Kriek Tennis Academy has been now successfully operating in Charlotte for 2 years.

Meet the Author

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
