Keith-Patrick Crowley’s first ATP 250 Series event

Johan Kriek traveled to Winston Salem to support Keith-Patrick Crowley at the Winston-Salem Open, Keith’s first ATP 250 series event. Keith played his first round of the men’s qualifying singles against Frederik Nielsen (DEN – highest ATP ranking 190). Keith lost the match 3/6 4/6 but it was a good performance and experience for the South African. His opponent ended up qualifying for the main draw.
Keith’s current ATP rankings: ATP singles 781 / ATP doubles 488

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
