JKTA academy players dominated doubles today

Great start by our academy players at the HondaJet NC Junior Spring State Closed Championship (NC1) in Greensboro, NC. Today the doubles portion of the tournament took place and three of our academy players won their doubles main draws:
– Caroline Garrido (girls’ 16)
– Jenna Thompson (girls’ 12)
– Kaitlyn Tozzi (girls’ 10)
Johan Kriek as well as one of our ITF ProCircuit players, Adam Zaorski, were their to watch and support our players. Congratulations!!! Great job! Good luck to all of our academy players in singles tomorrow!!

Meet the Author

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
