Congratulations to Jenna Thompson, the USTA Southern Level 1A Bullfrog Hilton Head, SC girls’ 12 singles finalist! She lost the level 1 final by only a few points in the third set tie-breaker after winning the quarterfinal 6/0 6/0 and the semi-final 6/0 6/1, which were pretty much the scores of almost all of her wins until the final match. Jenna’s Russian opponent in the final was twice her size (see picture) but she fought hard to win the second set after losing the first and ended up losing the “third set” 10-point tiebreaker 4-10. Jenna also placed third in doubles. Great job Jenna!
