Johan Kriek & Peter Fleming’s first match came down to a 10 point tie-breaker. Johan & Peter took the first set against Pat Cash & Mark Woodforde but ended up losing in the 10-point tie-breaker (3rd set) 8-10. Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
