Johan Kriek on passing of Nelson Mandela

Johan Kriek on passing of Nelson Mandela:

“Wow… so Nelson Mandela died today. An icon of a man who inspired people around the world rather than just in South-Africa. I sincerely hope that his legacy will be cherished by all citizens of the world and that SA and it’s citizens will realize, these types of leaders come perhaps once in a lifetime if one is lucky ….cherish their ideals and try to inspire others to be as committed to the humanity and humbleness he so clearly lived. What strength of character to come out of that hellhole of Robben island without an ounce of revenge….after 27 years. Unfathomable…. Sad day for the world. It lost a gem of a leader and humanitarian…. RIP Madiba.”
