JKTA welcomes Renier Moolman

Renier MoolmanJohan Kriek Tennis Academy welcomes former number 95 junior in the world, Renier Moolman, to the academy! Renier, who calls Randburg, South Africa his home, won the doubles title at the 2010 African Championships and finished in third place in singles. In 2009, he won an ITF junior singles championship in Israel and doubles titles in Israel and Botswana. The South African helped his nation reach the finals of the 2008 World Team Tennis Championships in New Zealand. In July of 2011, Renier reached the quarterfinals of a Futures tournament in Saksatoon, Canada. The South African reached an ATP ranking of 1152 in August of 2011 before deciding to play college tennis at Wake Forest. This year Renier decided to go back on the ATP Tour and has chosen our academy to be his training base. Johan Kriek is very impressed with Renier and believes he has a potential to do very well on the tour with proper coaching and guidance. Welcome Renier!!
