Dean O’Brien reaches the ITF 15K Futures final

Congratulations to Dean O’Brien (RSA) for reaching the final and almost winning the title with his doubles partner Colin O’Brien (IRL) at the ITF 15K Futures tournament in Plaisir, France. The O’Brien team was serving for the championship and had several match points before losing 14-16 in the final set super tie-breaker. Tough loss but what a great effort Dean! Congratulations!

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
