US Open Goes Polish 2014

The US Open Goes Polish event at the Polishing Consulate in New York City was a great success again this year! Johan & Daga Kriek drove from the Hamptons to NYC this afternoon to join some of the biggest names on the WTA and the ATP Tour for the annual event. Some of the current tour players present at today’s event were: Agnieszka Radwanska, Caroline Wozniacki, Sabine Lisicki, Marcin Matkowski, Mariusz Fyrstenberg, Aleksandra Wozniak, Alicja Rosolska, Dominic Inglot, Michal Przysiezny, Kasia Piter, Paula Kania and Gabriela Dabrowski. Johan Kriek was once again the celebrity MC of the event. The event was organized by Pawel Gasior and sponsored among others by INGLOT Cosmetics. Good luck to all of the Polish speaking players at the US Open!

Meet the Author

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
