US Open Goes Polish 2013

The 2013 US Open Goes Polish event was once again a great success. Johan Kriek, who was the celebrity MC of the event, joined a number of Polish or Polish speaking players at the Polish Consulate in New York City for the annual pre US Open event. On the pictures you see:

Daga Mrozek Kriek began playing tennis at the age of 9, in her native country, Poland, achieving the number 3 ranking in Juniors for three consecutive years. She has also excelled in collegiate tennis at Virginia Tech where she played for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1996 and was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1996 to 1999.
